about our items.

Hand Crafted Wings:

Our hand crafted wings are totally made by hand since the bending, covering, decoration and other embellishments, that’s  the reason no two are identical and making our wings one of a kind and design individually for our customers.   Remember....all of our wings has their own personality.

Semi Organic/Natural

We at Fairy Wings love going green and enjoy making fairy, dragonfly and butterfly wings in a semi organic way.  Wings are all natural and very fragile; please handle them with care (like flowers). Time sensitive item (materials are not treated with preservatives-like flowers).  These wings  will lasts for years.

Important Information

We make all of our wings with comfortable satin straps that tie on like a back pack. You can wear them loosely or snug against your body. If you prefer elastic we can design your wings with transparent /clear elastic or regular one.  We also can design your wings for strapless dress.

Small Fairy Wings: These wings are for ages 12 -14 

Medium Size Fairy Wings : These wings are more appropriate for ages 14 and up. Measurements are18-20" .

Large Size Fairy Wings:  Highly recommended to be worn by adults, teens or tweens. 

Wings vary in sizes depending styles.  We have had made wings up to 30”-36" for a small fee.  Again, styles will help us determine the size.

Already Made Wings

These are the wings that are hand crafted and has been presented in a showroom or maybe those wings that were bought from a provider.  Please be advised that we also embellish our already made wings and it also takes time to work on them.  Sizes are not the same as hand crafted fairy wings. These wings runs sometimes  bigger than others and vice verse.

TUTU   CARE & INSTRUCTIONS

 Caring for your Tutu or Dress is easy.  Your purchase will come folded so it will require a little bit of fluffing upon arrival.   Remove from the package and hang right away.  Start with the inside layers first and work your way out by running your hands thru the layers be careful if you have embellishments like rhinestones or sequins on your top layers.  Once you have worked your way pulling and fluffing thru all the layers we recommend hanging in your bathroom and running a hot shower for 5-10 minutes to get out any creases.  (some prefer to just use a steamer (again be careful not to get too close especially if your tutu has embellishments on it). 

 On the day of your pictures, party or event - put the dress or tutu on your little girl and refluff while on them for the perfect look.

 If you get some cake or ice cream on your tutu we recommend that you simply run the areas under warm water and clean by hand then hang your tutu to dry - once it’s dry just simply refluff.

Tutus Measurements

Our Tutus comes in Girls sizes  XS, S, M, L however, there are specific ranges for waist or chest measurements and lengths.  Please make sure when selecting the sizing that your custom measurements are within the range we show here.  If for any reason the measurements are not provided we have a standard measurement for each size that will be used. 

Simply instructions:

Please measure your princess around the waistline then from waist to length you desire the tutu to be.

 XSmall

Newborn:

waist up to 15 inches -length up to 8 inches

Small

 Fits 6 months to 3 yr olds

waist 16-19 inches - length up to 9-10 inches

 Med

Fits 3 years to 7 yr olds

waist 20-23 inches - length up to 13 inches

 Large

Fits 7 to 10 years

waist 24-25inches -length up to 15 inches

Remember all of our items has their own personality. All of them are created different.  That is the beauty  when you decide to own a hand crafted item.
